Ok fellow windsurfers, I need some smaller gear. At the moment I don't really have any money, and I probably won't have any money until next spring. Here is what I am looking for. I want to get a 110-120L board. At the moment my smallest sail is a 6.0, that means I probably need a sail that is around 5.0-5.3, right? And maybe another sail that is around 4.7. I will also need a mast to fit these and perhaps a boom (my smallest boom will go down to 152 cm). Does anybody have anything that they just want to get rid of? or perhaps sell for VERY cheap???

Hey Mikeyz,
I have a couple of sails and a mast you may be interested in. I have a North pyro 5.0 (1999) and a north pyro 5.5 (1998). I have probably used the 5.0 no more than 8 times. The 5.5 has been more heavily used, but doesn't have any holes and still works well. I would take 100 for both. I also have a 460 mast which probably would do you no good for these sails (need 430). Let me know if your interested and I will send you my contact info.
P.S. I'm going to the Cape this weekend for what looks to be some really good sailing, so I won't be around until next week.
Brian

Hi Mike,
I have a 5.0 and a 4.5 you might want as well as a carbon boom for them though no spare mast. You'll find me at GSWcac@aol.com. Gary

Hey Rick, I heard you might be trying to "keep up with the Jones". That means you might have some old gear for sail (pun intended). Right now I am interested in buying a waist harness, 4.5 sail, 430cm wave mast, and 400cm wave mast. Contact me if you guys have anything you want to sell or give up. email: mez3252@rit.edu tlf. 315-244-8373
I'll see you guys out on the water soon enough, I just need to take care of a couple of things up here at RIT before I get out. - mike

Hey everybody. I keep buying so much stuff off you guys I can't see out of my car. The time has therefore come for me to buy a roof rack. But before I do that I need to buy another board bag for my new Synchro. Does anybody have a board bag in the neighborhood of 255 cm?

Z-
What width are you working with? I don't have one for ya, but that will also be important. Sat-Tues are looking good on the long range for accuweather. Field days for this guy on Monday. Doug

What's the volume of your Syncro? You might not need a 120. I have a 123 that I don't ride often but I would never give up, however I would be happy to throw it on board next time we meet and let you try it to see if that is a size you really need. If your Syncro can handle a 6 meter sail there might be little to gain from a medium board, just use the big boy for lighter days and fickle wind.I also have a 4.75 Naish that is old but solid that you can have. More importantly where is everyone sailing this weekend?

Hey Bill (eller VindBarn), I don't need a 120 board. I just need a board bag for my 103L Synchro.
I am about to head to the pond. See you guys there, I'll call the windline if there is anything. - mike

One of my fellow students in my department has been sailing on Seneca all summer using Cornell University club gear. He has really caught the windbug and wants to get some gear but doesn't want anything expensive or too good cause he is just beginning.
So what do you guys have??? I think gary is going to hook him up with a 5.0m, and an old boom, and maybe a 6.0m. He is gonna need:
- 430cm mast - 460 cm mast - 7.0m sail - an old board (long board, fat board, anything big). one with foot straps would be great. - mast extension - mast base and UJ
Basically anything that is collecting cobwebs in your garage that you want to give away or sell real cheap this guy will happily relieve you of and use very regularly.
Thanks guys, - mike
