New Rochester Windsports Website

It is long overdue, but the rochesterwindsports.com website is undergoing a makeover. Come check it out as it slowly gets up to speed.

I hope you like the new look and functionality.

Some of the highlights/changes include:

New embeded forum

Updated "getting started section" (coming soon)

Embeded photo albums of user submitted photos (help me out and send me some good ones. Kite pics needed)

Embeded user made/submitted videos

A more comprehensive Kite and Windsurf launch page (coming soon)

As the spring season kicks in I hope you will take a minute to consider registering on the forum page. The Winter HIHO (Hook in, and Hang Out was a great community building event and I think the forum could be a great way to continue the discussion in a good way.

I'm also optimistic that with a little involvement from all you riders, the website can be an everchanging and relevant place to visit every few days.

For now just spread the word that the new site and forum are coming together. Cost exists, but is not too prohibitive. We can all figure a way to cover it some time in the future.

Head over and register for the new forum.

Some members have made the switch and registered for the new forum. We have a good looking kite avatar (of a current member) I noticed that is ready to be attached to its first post in the future.
