Like the national news media on most days, I don't have much of substance to report on this, BUT sources close to the situation that do not want to be identified (due to the sensitive nature of the information of course) tell me that windsurfers appeared to have ruled the high wind blitz on Seneca Friday. No kites were up.
That's right, the sharks ruled while the kite crew was apparently the chicken(s) of the sea! Zing! Look out!
Sounded like survival sailing as far as I have heard. Kinger on a 3.7 and Windkid on a 4.2 and wound up.
If you kited, and I slighted you with my wise guy remarks above, let me here...I deserve it. You know it as tongue in cheek too.
The Seneca meter updating all day on my phone was killing me while I nurse my repaired shoulder back to good. See all of you out there some time soon I hope.

Roger that. I believe the occasional 40+ gust was coming through. I surfed the 2 foot refraction wall slop on Mark's old Fanatic instead later in the afternoon. We had at it with kites the next morning...and it was very bizzaro... d**n them are some small sails!
