Hey all,
I'm bouncing around the idea of throwing together a mid winter social/party for the ever growing kite and windsurf group in the area.
My loosely rigged plan includes getting together in a free party room at a Rochester are pub, order up some apps, throw on some vids and let the conversation and ball busting commence.
The numbers of folks hitting the water around town (and using this forum) has steadily grown and small numbers of like skilled/minded riders have linked up in groups....(windsurfers, veteran kiters, Sodus area folks, new kiters, new windsurfers...yes their are a few) it would be cool to get all the groups together and share some stoke, stories, laughs, favorite videos and perhaps even organize ourselves to advocate.
Winter weather willing we will all likely be deep into winter pursuits in late January and early February, but that is when I was thinking about trying to convene the group on a weekend evening.
If you have any interest (even if it's 1 in a million) please reply below, and pass the word on to others that may not regularly visit this forum.
