Seneca put out once more. S-SSW in the high teens with air temps in the high 60s made for what can only be described as primo sesh. Mostly 12m kites were cruising the park today. A lone shark was spotted cruising outside. Mark had such good rides no one knew who he was out there.

My 7.3 was not enough and I was bummed to not get a decent shark session in for the last of the season. And to top that off I had to be rescued by a kiter as I sailed into a hole and promptly went for an extended swim. My fully cammed sail just filled with water and wouldn't fly. I tried uphauling and it stuck in the water like an anchor. Jason graciously sailed by and hooked me up for a tow to shore. I grabbed on to his leash he slowly towed me to shallow water. Must have been quite a sight seeing a kiter towing a windsurfer but we had a nice chat on the way to shore and my ADHD-like mind has me rethinking this windsurfing thing. NO BEER FOR ME! Thanks Jason!

My pleasure Scott. As Sprout says it, "united we shred, divided we're dead!".
It was weird cuz as I was riding on my port tack, I could swear I saw something man made shimmering in the delicious, 65 degree glow. As I passed the celestial beam of life giving warmth reflected on the icy waters of great Seneca, sure enough, there lay the wreck of the Edmundscott Fitzgerald!
Uh, not sure where that came from...maybe just trying to stoke for the cold weather sesh on tap for today on the mighty Lake O. Feel free to stop up Scott and have a closer look at the whole kiting option. Lynn and I are headed there shortly.
