Some of the folks that check in with this forum may or may not be aware that Lynn Davis, Rochester waterman, has recently lost his long time companion Maureen Palmer.
There will be calling hours and a mass in Dansville, and donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Pluta Cancer Center.
Lynn is the man, perhaps the Robby Naish of Rochester. An ambassador for windsurfing and more recently kitesurfing. He leaves a message on the windline religiously if he is about to score a session, helps newbies with a smile, and is the subject of pretty well edited videos. See below:
I only let you know all this because perhaps some of us can lend some support to Lynn in this tough time, or donate in memory or Maureen. Maureen's obituary is viewable at the D and C website.

In a sport where time is of the essence, Lynn always had a smile and an open ear for me. Even when I was first looking into the sport and Rick posted poor Lynn's cell number for me.
I'm so sorry for your loss Lynn and I hope you can find comfort in good memories made!
