Art Mayne had his photo featured in a supplement to the Sunday D and C.
A pic of him ripping on Long Pond was featured over a list of water sport clubs. I believe the pic was taken some time in the fall. Of course absent was Rochester Windsports. This inspite of me forwarding a link and e mail to the D and C the last time they did this supplement.

I saw Sodus Pat on the news this week too. They were doing a feature on Algae in Sodus Bay so they filmed him kiting then interviewed him. They asked him what he thought of the Algae and I missed his answer cuz I was yelling "mention RWS and Windydoug!" I'm kidding of course, I was actually yelling "he's kiting IN the bay...where the heck did he launch from?!"

I wonder if the website or forum sees additional traffic because of wind sports being in the news. 63 people have viewed the forum in the past 24 hours...that's the highest it has been in a while. We also have another member signed up for the forum. Never a dull moment....when the wind is blowing.

Pat launches from a tiny bay side beach next to the coast guard station at the main beach parking lot. He and i had a great Sodus Bay session a few months ago on a south east wind at the sandbar on the east side of the inlet.
