I think a couple people are heading to Charlotte around 4:30 today. They started a FB group you might be able to keep tabs on.

I can't make it but I'd be there if I could, if the NW wind turns N as predicted it makes for really smooth wind. The beach is wide open and empty this time a year too.

Ah, finally a good reason to rejoin Facebook! Hope your guys got after it though with that much west in it I am guessing the wind was spotty at best.

Lynn, Gregg and Chris hit Montana beach earlier on small kites and Don, Doug, PAOLO and I hit it later in a waning wind with bigger ones.
