I'm starting to see too many post's with my name as the author, so from now on if I find video that is interesting to me I will put it here for the rest of the winter. If you haven't been taking your A.D.D. meds and have become adept at finding good wind related video to watch (Kite or Windsurf) add a post to this thread.

Awesome wave riding that anybody can appreciate, kite or Wsurf. You did exactly what I would do by placing the links. Vimeo won't embed to the best of my knowledge. To "embed" a youtube (the epic conditions kite vid above) video I do the following:
I don't do a Quick Reply, I hit reply on the bottom of the last message for the full post editor. After cutting and pasting the youtube link, highlight it, and if you go up to all the goofy buttons above your editing/typing window there is a button that says "TUBE". click that button and it will bookend your link in brackets that say "youtube". Works for me. OF course, a lot of the good vids are not on youtube.
Windy now, anybody riding?

Windy now, anybody riding? Lynn and I got out yesterday. I went down to paddle the SUP and Lynn was kind enough to loan me his kite when he was done cuz I didn't have mine. Lots of west in it so pretty sketchy with the kite going from nuked to luff in the same breath. Score one for February though! Wahoooo!!! And thanks for the embed info Doug. Here's a sweetie... vimeo.com/34267586And some veritable surf porn... vimeo.com/33760454Click "HD" for best affect

The wind was blowing so hard that the gusts blew the color right out of Jay's beard. Booyah! www.aaronwintersphotography.com/Sports

Supremely enjoyable POV vid J GO! Your editing special effects are as deft as your Strapless riding. Often you don't get much perspective of what the water is like with a helmet cam, but I got a sense of it in your vid.
Here's a North Sails/Fanatic full length (40 min in HD) video worth a look (6000+ views in 4 days). Chock full o slalom, world wide waves, and a bit of freestyle and SUP.

OMG Jay! Impressive, crazy, talented, desperate...all words that came to mind when looking at the photos. When you gave the high sign to come in I also heard "put down the $#%in' camera!"
Ha! Good stuff man.

Thanks Brent. It was a bit desperate but no boats at the launch helped:) Here's a longish video about surfing/kiting the HUGE waves of Cloudbreak in Fiji. Pretty amazing... vimeo.com/29500587

If you remember Quantum Leap Sailboarding back when it was on State St. in the village of Pittsford, then watch this video. Robby (who is not always sailing pink) sails his New Malibu right onto the beach at 7:30. Lots of people wearing Ray Bay Wayfarers too. How could a kids not want to try windsurfing after seeing this in the mid 80's?
The Japanese Maple in my front yard looked like an exploding firework it was bent over so bad...and this is the end of April!?
Totally Rad Mistral video. It's Rad. Totally.

I'm on a roll here. This video will be hard for all you over forty's to listen to....It's European, and the music would totally hook every girl on my middle school lacrosss team on windsurfing.
The very worthwhile Nuclear Webster Park looking part of the vid begins at the 1:40 mark. It's way windy and very wavey.

Last one for today.
I rented this vid. many times from the Sailing Center of Western NY on I Bay. The music was the soundtrack in my head during many windsurfing session early on.
