Got a nice early session in at the pond. Rigged 5.2 on my 87 l. Mamba and was overppowered. ;D Rigged down and was was underpowered except in the gusts on a 4.2. Art nailed it on 5.2 and 4.2 choices. I got slammed a couple times over the boom and into the sail, although I knocked a day or two off the calendar the mylar taped panel held up well. It was a bit embarrassing as the mast tip got stuck in the muck bottom and the wind picked the board up so it was swiveling in the air by the universal. Really. Winds went west and some late arrivals headed over to Durand where the iWindsurf readings were a bit misleading. Winds fell off and I made it to the shore's edge but refused to slog in the cold water. Good decision. See you on the slopes!
