Someone left a message saying it was nuclear at Seneca yesterday at 11:14 a.m. (I think it was the guy who almost died), by the time I got there I had just enough time to sleeve a 5.6 and watch it die. As Bill, Mark and Jimmie derigged and put on their flannels for the nite (Joe was already in his) ,Ted, Dacron Guy (i think he's Jeff from Ithaca) and I kept up the faith and rigged big (5.2, 6.0 and 6.3). After several near planning passes....it went off! Yeay! My 6.0 smoked and it was a nice session. Hung out and chatted with Dacron Guy and Stand Up Paddle Surf guy from Detroit til my knees were knocking from hypo. They opened my eyes to alternative ways to have fun on the water. Left them with a Saranac Big Moose Ale while I down a Lake Effect Lager and hit the road. Good day. Might be good at the pond tomorrow...
