If you read Ricks first response on the "Saturday Retrospective" thread then you know this one is necessary......becasue of the play on words and because Jonesy just got a new Starboard Futura 101 from Quantum Leap Windsurfing in Penfield (no I am not sponsored, but I would love some free new footstraps for dropping the shameless plug among the 20 or so of us).

Some photo's for comparison are available on the 2008 photo page. Doug's 2004 116L Mistral Screamer next to Bills 2007 113L Mistral Syncro.
Screamer- more of a flat water blaster (magazine speak for "I'm fast but I can't jibe that great")
Syncro- Bump and Jumper with a bent to shorter and wider for new school freestyle (industry speak for "I can't keep up with Doug's Screamer so I will be better at sail flipping magic").
Seriously though.....I just flew in to town and boy are my arms tired.....
Seriously (I mean it this time). Interesting comparison of shape compared to nearly identical volume as it relates to intended conditions/use.
AND KEEPING UP WITH THE JONES(S)....
Ken has received his new Futura but is doing a better job than Britney Spears of avoiding the prying eye of the camera. It would be interesting to get his 101L board next to Mikey Z's Syncro 103 he bought from Globetrotting Windchaser David.
All this doesn't matter of course unless the wind blows.
