Wednesday the winds shifted just enough out of the north to tee up at Durand ladies and gentlemen. Our man Lynn was the first man out with his 11 meter kite, followed by yours truly. Water was cold but not impossible, perfectly comfortable with hood, boots and gloves. Lynn had a 11 meter kite, I had a 6.5 sail and later another kitekid showed up, sans boots, mittens or hood with a 8 meter sail. Ouch. The sun was shining, the swell was sweet and the wind was steady, just no sailors. So it's time to get out and represent. The only downside was some large mostly submerged logs that looked like Godzilla took a Crap if Godzilla could take one that is.
Ok Doug et al.... fingers crossed for Saturday!
