Anyone have an recommendations for snow kites? There are a few different sizes available from this seller on ebay. stores.shop.ebay.com/4m-power-kiteThe feedback is relatively good, just wondering if anyone has any experience with these kites or has any recommendations for other more mainstream brands.

Not sure I can be too helpful since I haven't actually gotten out snow kiting before and have only been sporadically kite boarding for 3 seasons now, but, I do have a 4-line stunt kite (Revolution EXP) that I fly pretty often. Not sure I would use that for snowkiting unless there were really strong winds.
I'm waiting for a lighter wind day (10-15 mph) to take my 9m LEI out on the pond with my snowboard. I'm looking for a 3m trainer or 4m kite to have on hand for heavier wind days and to be able to use in the summer to "introduce" people to the sport and get them working on their kite skills. Ideally, I'd like a kite that you hook into with a harness, since that's much closer to what you'll experience while kite boarding, but it will depend on what I can find used and what kind of deals there are out there.
Let us know what else you learn, what you decide to try and when you go out!

A kite buggy guy I know from the area mentioned it was a bit twitchy compared to the Beamer kites, but pretty nice one you get used to it.

Did you end up getting anything yet? My advise is to stick to the better company's like Ozone or Flexifoil, that is if you want ram airs/foils. Only because I have gone that route, trying cheaper kites and ending up getting the better stuff in the end anyhow.. Its hard to justify when you are starting, I know, so maybe it is unavoidable! Many have decided that LEI's are still better even in winter. Winter tends to be more gusty and can make flying a foil a little more difficult. Let me know how you made out.
