Jimmy King and I had the first More Balls than Brains meeting in Hamburg yesterday. I can't believe no one else showed up. Had warm air, side shore 30-40 knot wind, best waves I ever saw there. Perfect for underwater freestyle moves. Jimmy King had some nice rides. For the rest of you I made a video.

Bill,
Nice Video & nice board but honestly if you are going to do that with such a nice board I have a few tattered boards in the garage that I don't use which will work great for those kind of sessions, then maybe I can use yours for my sessions.
Speaking of sessions I went to Webster rigged a 4.2m thinking that with the forecast & wave size it would work. Didn't get moving inside the pier but I thought with the West direction perhaps more wind would be located on the outside. Nope nothing! Turned & headed for shore but wait I'll never be able to make the pier. Finally caught a gust and shot right into the shore at the back corner of the pier stepped right out and walked back to the car for my 4.8m Rigged it full cause my thoughts were the wind really wasn't as strong as last Wednesday. Sailed out and harness lines on this boom were set for my 5.2m and not enough out haul, turned around and headed for shore to make the adjustments. Wonder what the peanut gallery was thinking now. ?This gray haired old man has no clew (pun intended)
After adjustments were made I sailed at least an hour dodging white water on the inside and jibing waves on the outside thinking I haven't fell in yet, don't even know how cold the water is. Cocky was not what I should have been thinking because soon after I was drinking lake water from a breaking wave.
Sailed right up to dark when it became more difficult to maneuver the waves cause the lack of light made is harder to see wave size so I checked the water temp a few more times before calling it quits.
Now Ontario Buoy I need to know something regarding the Kokatat dry suit. Is it really dry when going through the rinse cycle? Cause I had a number of wet spots on my clothing after the sailing.
This time I used Millers 90 liter Evo and not my old red board which by the way I saw Millers red board in his garage mmm perhaps I can grab that one.

Rick, I do notice a small damp spot on one shoulder and one leg at the bottom. Not sure if I have a slight leak or just my flailing around in the water. I hear the best way to stay dry is not fall in. Unfortunately I never seem to remember that while sailing.
