Just a quick report on washday today at Hamburg.
It was a 4 something day with Jimmy Limp on a 4.0 I think, but I do know he bailed and sailed from King's Beach (conveniently in front of the local camera crew). Joe on a 4.2, Greg from Buffalo on a 4.8, Mark from Buffalo on a 4.2 and Steve on a 4.5 as was yours truly. It appeared everyone grabbed their smallest boards but forgot the soap. I'll spare the forum the details surrounding the amount of washing and walking that was done today, or the details of being tossed into the air like a balsa wood plane or the refreshing chill of the water. As heavenly as it was it the wind shut down faster than a Burger King franchise in New Deli around 3:30. Some colorful language by Joe, a nice scratch- crack on my RRd, a little blood shed from Steve followed by rain capped the whole thing off with style. Wish you were there. ...really.
