I was just driving along and all of a sudden I saw this: In the seconds that followed: Brakes go on, son asks "Daddy why are we turning around?", and then it becomes clear to him. This billboard is on Rt. 31 just east of the village of Palmyra, near the Salvation Army and is viewable when driving west. I almost lost my mind. I thought about the subject heading for this e mail being "Only in Wayne County" or, "only in 315 land". When you get a minute put the family in the car and go for a drive to gaze at this beauty....it's a prime windsurfing tourist destination. WD link to more pics: www.flickr.com/photos/48453374@N02/

Are you trying to tell me that I should have joined the Air Force instead of moving to San Francisco?!?
Hey guys. I just checked up on the forum and it looked like October 2010 was a month to remember. I think you can thank me for bringing you such an awesome season. I've been out here for over a year now. I'll never forget the day I left Rochester. It was the windiest day of the whole year. I stopped off at Hamburg to say goodbye and waves were easily logo high. Mother nature is a fickle mistress.
The season isn't over out here yet either. Some guys in my team of wind dawgs just sailed 5.6 today. Although let me tell you 5.6 on the bay is nothing like 5.6 at Durand. It is pretty off and on. I'm hoping for a couple more sessions this year. I'll give you all an update when the dust settles.
