Ok I searched 'Kueka' on the forum and found a post from Kel that said 'David L, Jason and I' kited Keuka today...think it was from last year but its written proof you did it, where did you launch from?!
My fam rented a cottage at the North end of the East Y near the public boat launch for labor day. I'm prob going to try from somewhere around there unless you give me a better option!
I'll have my boat and might brave a drift launch again but its definitely not my prefered option.

1st its Keuka not kueka....lol The easiest thing is to drift launch there. All the parks are public and its not a very kite friendly lake due to it being narrow and only good in SW. I would recommend making the 22 min ride to Seneca if the wind is south at all instead of Keuka, far better option.

Got it, thanks! There is a grassy field on the SE end of the East side but I think its private property. Thanks for filling me in though...on the kiting and on the spelling. I feel I'm intermediate at both

Well, when we rode that week, we launched at Keuka College. There is a small peninsula on campus. It is still a tight launch with lots of stuff around and the wind is not clean near shore, so you have to time it and get right out before your kite falls out of the sky and wraps around the a dock or the yard arm. I am pretty sure you can get to Seneca in about 20 - 30 min from there - so that would be the best launch for Keuka!!
