The 2010 WTF Convention was a resounding success this year. It was held this last Thursday at the Chimney Bluffs. The sun was out and the attendees were undisturbed by any errant breezes and free to focus on WTF business. In attendance were Mark "WTF how do you pronounce that last name?",Rosenzweig, Joe "WTF we should have gone to Webster"Herbert, Ken, "WTF I'm taking a walk" Jones, Jimmy "WTF I'm rigging a 5.0, it's magic" King, Bill "WTF I borrowed money against my house for this board it better sail in anything)"Nies, Keith "WTF I really drove out here?" Schneller, and finally our own Doug " WTF I traded three months of nuptial bless for this!"Williard. High points of the convention were sandwiches from Burnap Farms , swimming lessons from yours truly and a lengthy water temp. check by Doug. For entertainment we had the "Short or Skirt"contest which unfortunately did not come off with a hitch. There was of course the WTF "Were is the wind?"debate, coupled with a speech from Wendy the Wind sleeper who repeatedly claimed Oswego had 20+ all day long. All in all it proved to be a long ride to look at a big lake....maybe we'll have better luck next time.

You'd have to have been there to know....be glad you were back working a marathon shift at WORK radio. H2O Rick was playing all the hits, and the guys at E Bay were getting all the misses. I did sample the frigid H2O on a failed slogging jibe and wished I had brought my full suit. Glad it's going to be sunny and hot for the next week!
BTW Burnap's Farm Market does indeed have great sandwiches. Windkid took care of the suffering souls who made the trip to E Bay with some local and delicious eats to share. I'm stopping there the next time out to East Bay. Watch for the DOT sign at Maple St. indicating the farm market is north of 104. Worth the drive up. Windkid knows good eats...he described to Ontario Buoy and I how to make a mouthwatering delicious tomato pie from the crust up. Windydoug

WTF who listens to who? Also remember the wind was from the northeast from Sunday on to Wednesday thus making the H2O temp cold Attachments:
