I took a kiteboarding lesson and we covered basic kite handling, saftey procedures and did some body dragging.
I would like to buy a kite that will be a good size for me and be a good choice for flying in Rochester conditions.

I'm looking at adding a 15m to my quiver to be able to ride.

I have an 06 12m Waroo I've been meaning to put on ebay...you can have it for $150 if you want. Moderate use but no rips or repairs. You will still need 155cm bar, lines, harness & spreader. Call me at 585-733-2440 with questions. I'll prob put it on ebay this Sat if I don't hear from you.
Where did you take your lesson & what did you think of it?! I've taken a couple and felt they concentrated more on getting up & riding than on important safety aspects. At the time thats what I wanted, but later on I wished I had more of the basics.
