I'm going to be camping in Fairhaven this weekend and am bringing my kiting gear (just in case). Just wanted to get some beta on best winds, best place(s) to launch, things to look out for, etc.
Thanks!!

Hey Brian,
Ask at the gate...I've been down there a few times but not to kite and not within the last couple years. The might be able to point you to an area.
I remember the swimming area being west of the pier so my best guess would be east of the pier or walk way west of the swimming area and make sure you're not close enough to get blown near it. I remember there being bluffs a ways east of the pier...might be worth it to try to walk east of the bluffs & really be away from the beachgoers.
I'm guessing W to N winds would work the best. Should get sloppier as it turns E and obviously no chace in a south wind. Have fun, I'm headed to Kueka with the fam & about to ask for help.

Thanks Brent! I know there are a few people on here that have kited Fairhaven, but your beta should help! Have a great time at Keuka!
