Ed Schmitt gets the Iron Man award and also the Christopher Columbus award for distance traveled. Ed & I sailed till sun set or roughly 9:00 Ed told me he was on the water by 1:30 that's a lot of water time and I thought my 4.5hrs was enough.
Ed also sailed downwind around the point to find more waves and add to that his west end of East bay trip which is about halfway to Sodus Bay. I joined him up there to discover different water and wave conditions. (no Pilgrims though)
Scorza and I sailed 5.2 while I believe Fast Eddie might have been on his 4.7 I passed more sailors today on the drive into the park than on the water Joe, Art & Sprout Man had called it a day when I had arrived.
I saw Joe Walsh's kite stuck up in one of the oak trees along the shore guess he didn't get David's writeup about kiting at E-bay. Lucky for Joe the tree was a little easy to climb and I had my hand pole saw with me in the car so between the two of us we managed to rescue the kite from the tree. There were some rips but Joe said it would be fixed and ready to use by Wednesday (however do keep a watchful eye on E-Bay for a slightly used kite)
I also heard Jim King almost died or bled or saw a snake or lost his job or left a message or sold a board or rigged a 3.3 or road 8ft waves or put stickers on his car or has a sore back or something like that. I can't keep it straight.
