That's right....kite report. David got out for a quick session on his 11m doing some jumping and toe side wave riding while a yet-to-be-named lovely lady looked on. He did the smart thing by taking a hike up the bluff after leaving his mark on the water.
The wind cycled through in strength for the large part of the day with anything in the neighborhood of a 5.0 to a 6.6 (Very flattened) sail working on the choppy frigid water. No real set up pattern to any waves close to shore, but some swell did start to set up mid way between the bluff and a point I'll call "out there".
Jim, Bill, Ken, Joe, Doug, Gary, and David got in on the action and had reason to smile at some point during the session. I'm sore. WD
Bill, Kinger, and Doug had camera's, so some pics to come soon. Got some steady vid. of David kiting that will surface eventually.

Heyo! Still waiting on some pics from Jim, but here are some pics I shot at East Bay on May 15. Also a few kite pics from last fall of an unknown rider. Enjoy. Ken giving the crowd a closer look. Jim finds a little ramp. Bill. Throwing some spray.

Okay, I wasn't going to post these...but vanity got the better of me. Mostly though I thought that Ken and Bill got some good pictures at E Bay (the subject just happens to be me). A couple of the pics are from the end of the road launch site, but many are from the grassy halfway-back-to-the-launch clearing that some have begun calling Jones Beach. Good pics you guys! 12 or so shots are in the odds n ends section on the website. www.flickr.com/photos/48453374@N02/A few I like are below wd Chasing Joe Loving the feel and bend of my Ezzy skinny mast My "Oh Jesus" light was flashing.
