I saw Rick and his daughter out on the ice with a trainer kite! Could it be he will have to change his biased answer in the 'Windsurf vs Kite' thread?!

Thanks for breaking my cover, next time I'll leave the dog home so that me and my daughter can stay undercover in our heavy winter clothing while flying trainer kites.
First and foremost I need to continue thanking those who have loaned gear to me and their time teaching me to ride. I will NOT go out and drop bunches of money on gear to see if I enjoy it. (the David and Rick debate continues lol)
My daughter had a ball flying the trainer and she learned it instantly she enjoyed flying the kite back and forth in the power zone feeling the force of the wind. In her first outing I think the kite hit the snow a handful of times.
As far as my biased opinion change; for now the jury is still out.
