Spring Trip to Corpus Christi / South Padre Texas

I am heading to corpus Christi and South Padre Island the first week of April for 5-9 days if anyone is interested in coming along. Planning on spending 3 days or so at each spot. Flights to Austin or San Antonio are around $300, Van for the week will be about $200 (split) I am planning on dirt bag it camping for $8-$10/night at the state parks or splitting a cheap ass hotel with partners. There are rentals available for both kite and windsurfing gear. The beaches are incredible on south padre island, temps in the 80's during the day, 60 at night, average wind speed is 15-22 mph, shallow sandy water with waves on the gulf side and flats on the bay. Shoot me an email or post here is you want to go, I would enjoy some company but I am going either way.

I just returned from my spring trip to south padre island Texas. The place rocks and I had the best kiting I have ever had in my life. Great wind, warm flat water, sand, and sun. I would definately give it a 5 star rating and I will be going back ASAP!
