Hey oh,
I've tried this before with varying response, but here goes for winter 2009/10. I don't get as close to the end of the internet in any other season but this one. If you come across anything weather/wind/kite related that you think is interesting put a link in this thread.
I hadn't checked out the below blog in a while, but I found some cool stuff when I did.

This is the blog of Dave Troup (Big Dog, as Joe Herbert calls him), he is a great lakes sailor by roots, and does a lot of testing for Windsurfing Mag. as well.
Of interest to me was the Oct. 14 post in which he reviews a cool looking new boom. Of note on the aluminum boom is the pronounced "V" on the inside of the grip where you hold on. Check out what he has to say about it. He sails it a bunch in his vids.
Also, if you own a GoPro camera, check out the cool front end boom mount Dave uses in the video on his Nov. 7 post. Shows the wave riding really well.
