Hello everyone! I am new to this forum and just wanted to say hi!
I started kiting about a year and a half ago when my mom cut out an article from the paper in Syracuse showing snowkiting on Oneida Lake. It was all over from there!
I used to sail and am currently looking for another boat. During the winter I fly a Beamer TSR 3.6m and an Ozone Frenzy 10m.
So where does everyone snowkite here in Rochester? I live about 30 minutes from Hamlin Beach.
Glad to be apart of this community!

Welcome! Can't wait to see your Frenzy! I was looking into them last year when all I had was my 3m Best Trainer.
Most of the guys around here use their Waroo's in the winter as well, some say they just like the feel of them...I probably will to avoid purchasing another toy!
I ride outside of the Bayside Restaurant/Bar in the NE corner of Irondequoit Bay. The water is shallow there so if freezes early and its not that deep if you happen to go out too early. Most of it is 3-5 feet.
The Irondequoit Creek at the South end of the Bay flows into the bay making the ice down there a little sketchy. If the winter is cold enough its fine but thats pretty much the last place you should venture too. We'll see you outside of the Bayside long before that!
