Hey all. If you look long and hard enough, something good is bound to be found. Perhaps some of you have already found this wind meter: www.wunderground.com/weatherstation/WXDailyHistory.asp?ID=KNYWILLI5It was among the list of weather stations that popped up around Fairport. Yesterday, right around the time that Jimmy says it was blowing really nicely at EBay, this meter was reading West at 23. I'm not sure how often it updates, but it could come in handy for judging the conditions in Sodus, EBay, and Fairhaven. Perhaps it is a good balance to the Oswego meter. WD

Brent,
You can't ask more questions before you answer the questions asked of you. Don't forget to tell me about your launch last week on the Webster side of the bay outlet. (see full question below)
I will however join in and let you know that the Pultneyville launch in the town park is OUT OF THE QUESTION. That park has more rules than dollars Obama spent on bailouts. If anything other than a "skipping rock" enters the water there the park Nazis come running.
(missed 2 days on the) H2O Rick

I'm just so excited!!!
Hahahah, this summer has been so much fun and I'm trying to get the most time in that I can. If that means trying new spots I'm in, if that means asking a bunch of questions at once, I'm in! This site has been very helpful and put some relief on poor Lynn, who btw should beat Rick for giving his cell number out to random excitable noobs!
I also have a wife & 7 month old who are very understanding but needless to say I try to make my freetime count! I need to figure out how Kel does it...I swear that dude drives circles around the Lake to Kite!

I found this guy on Lake Ontario today. Better start making room for him and his buddies on the water in the future. Hope the attachment works . H2O Rick Attachments:

WD Glad you like my Davis Weather Station. It's been up since April of 2009. Great exposure from W-NE. Not so good SW-E. Jack

We love it Jack! How did you find our website and forum? How did you find out we were using it to judge the winds at the east end of Chimney Bluffs (while we were in and around Rochester)? Thanks again for maintaining it and making it available to the world. Windydoug
