Yo!!!!!!!!!
Late and tired right now, but I wanted to acknowledge Ithaca Steve(Steve Lutter) for organizing a nice gathering on Seneca Lake today. Tons of sails on the water, and a bunch of kites as well. Fresh faces, and some gear changed hands too. If you want to reflect on the day, ad to this thread. I plan on adding more later. WD

Strength in numbers is certainly true. It felt good to be around som many others folks that are stoked about the wind and water. For the most part it seemed that gear traded places with just a hand shake, it's hard to get rid of an old piece of gear that was so good to you, and equally difficult to pass on a shakey piece of gear at a price. Anything new to you is fun to have. I would say that Gary styled the most for the day for some classic Fanatic Boa's strapped to the roof on his ride. Jim was telling stories about when the boards were "the board" to have. I didn't get a chance to talk with many of the kiters out during the day, but I am envious at how close they can blast in towards shore. Much like sailing at Da Rocks. It was good to see David Lent and know that he is still around. He appeared to be shooting some video or pics. At the end of the lake I noticed a trainer kite dancing across the sky as well. Some hurried pics of the session ending clean up are below and on the rochesterwindsports.com odds and ends page. WD
