Get your gear loaded up. This weekend is looking quite interesting. Too bad I will be unavailable Saturday and Sunday. I may try and hit Seneca Friday afternoon, if its good.. Brian weather.unisys.com/surface/sfc_con_pres.html

Brian,
Jimmy King is on his way to Hatteras on Friday night so with you and him out of the picture perhaps we may get another push. Currently I'm thinking Hamburg. So all tree cutting has not been scheduled for Saturday, But 24hrs can change alot.

Seneca for me on Friday morning before the lightning, going early from 7-12 or so depending. Saturday looks like Hamburg or may head up to fair haven, chimney bluffs, or southwick depending on the southern component. Either way I am heading out early Saturday for some good riding that will hopefully last all day. Lets all firm things up Friday night on here and get a crew together to sail.

I'd be game for an adventure to one of those spots. Where is southwick? If I breakdown in Lake Ontario on a SW am I floating to Kingston (Ont.)? If it's a Hamburg day tomorrow I might make the trip..if Hamburg is too big Ken suggests going down to Cargill. 4.3 is currently as small as I go with sails.

Hamburg is my bet the low will travel more north than east I'm not a meterologist, however I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express.

I kited Seneca from 07:45-11:15 overpowered on a 12m kite (~6.0-6.5 sail) with Lynn, Joe, Dick Miller. 4 kiters 0 windsurfers, doesn't anyone blow off work anymore? Hamburg is definitely the call for tomorrow and I am planning on heading over early morning. sorry I can't chat now but I am so beat from my 4 hr session this morning (rubbing it in) that I need to take a nap. ;D

I'm glad someone is willing to try Fairhaven and Southwick however tomorrow looks like Hamburg is the best bet. Doug, you can find both parks and maps at nysparks.state.ny.us/ They're really beautiful venues and worth the trip. Anyway Doug bring your smallest sails and a pair of sizzors just in case, I'll see you at Hamburg! WK
