Rushed to Durand following work.....Bill, Ken, Art, and Mark coming off the water or slogging on 5.2-6.5. Wind looked good but all the guys who were already wet were not buying it. Keith was wiser than I and thought it was not doable.
I saw H2O Rick over at his secret IBay pier launch blasting so that affected my choice.
I rigged a 6.6 and 95L and shot off the beach but the wind was very west and I lost ground fast after my outside turn (Big NW ramps still coming in on the way out). I was overpowered (my new comfort zone you may remember!) for about 3 runs till the wind went offshore and I called it quits.
Not sure how Ricks session ended or if Dan joined him. I think Keith reported that Webster Park was on shore.
