So yesterday I was stuck in the computer lab doing my work, helping out a friend, and watching the trees move (this lab has windows). By 4pm I was free to go and Kenny called me with the Long Pond update. It was good! I was at The Pond in twenty minutes and as soon as I opened the door I got a nice whiff of that Long Pond air we all know and love. Kenny greeted me and was eager to have someone to sail with as he was telling me to hurry up and even helping me rig my 8.5. He must have been hanging with Joe H. because at one point when a particularly strong gust came and I stood up contemplating rigging smaller he told me I was going out on a 8.5 regardless. haha. I was soon ready to go. The water was just warm enough for swim trunks and the wind was plenty smooth for Long Pond. We must have sailed for at least an hour with the wind coming down The Pond at WSW. I was nicely powered and doing my best to stay in the windy areas. I can't believe how small Long Pond feels. Compared to Hatteras it felt like I was sailing in my kitchen sink. It is a good thing though cause it makes you a better sailor - having to work harder to get upwind and jibe more often. Soooo it was a good little session ;D. Woot! www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=woot

Guys & Gals, Mikey mentioned to me yesterday that he was tied up with graduation Saturday I trust he must have ment his own. If indeed this is true it's about time we got him out of school and back into the world again. Nice job Mikey ;D Woot! www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=wootH2O Rick

Thanks H20Authority, yea that was my own graduation. But don't get too excited to have me out of your hair. It's not over until the skinny advisors sing. I've got a couple more months and then a few other opportunities around town to keep me here a little longer. What is this "world" stuff you speak of? When you say "world" do you mean "water" cause that is where I want to be. ;D -
